I've been awake since 3 a.m. I don't mind waking up early on my days off, you see I want to enjoy every second of my off time. This morning I awoke to the sound of thunder. As soon as dawn broke I went out back and snapped a few pics. I only posted one of them.
Once these pine cones drop I'll collect them and do something Christmas like with them. This tree was planted by the people that had this house built. It was their first Christmas tree. It's been growing since 1988. Isn't that cool?
So far I've cleaned my kitchen, bedroom, master bedroom, bath, living room, and finished 3 loads of laundry.I can't wait for the game to start. I will feel better after my Buckeyes beat the crap out of Penn State. We were able to do Texas right in their own backyard and I'm expecting a victory this week as well. Squirrel and I both missed last weeks game. I'm sure you understand why.
So I need to pull myself out of the funk I'm feeling. I need to laugh and have fun. Maybe I'll put the kid to work painting my hallway. Watching him work should help me feel better. Is that mean of me?

Manny, you were early ... I was late. I just posted my hunt pictures. I had to buck the trend a little so it took a little more effort.
Buckeye were a little shakey for a while there but they came on strong for the win. I would not say they beat the crap out of them however. Could be a fun game at the end of the season...
