I spend the last week of October watching horror flicks. I turn the light's off, light candle's, bring out all the snack's, and kick back.
I noticed Grace was steadily watching the ceiling, but didn't think anything of it. A couple hours later I hear a scratching sound. Scratch, pitter, patter. Scratch, pitter, patter. To my suprise, Grace start's growling and jumps off the back of the couch and flies through the air.
Was it my over-active imagination? Was it Micheal, Jason, or Freddie? Pumpkinhead isn't real, right?
I think a critter has moved in. It didn't sign a lease, and it sure as hell isn't paying any rent. Now I have to go up there and try to find whatever it is and serve an eviction notice.
Wish me luck, I'm going in.

Ahahaha!! I had the exact same thing happen to me after I watched the Exorcist. Rats in the attic. Well, not rats, but the kind with the fluffy tails. Scared me shitless to hear the scratching and pitter patter.
Now you know why I dont watch that stuff anymore I cant handle the stress of thinking someone is there. LOL
Good luck Manny. Do you want to borrow my cat?
Wear a hair net! Tee hee hee
Sal are you saying Manny has Bats in her Belfry? I might be pushing for Squirrels especially this time of year.
LEMME GO! I'M NOT MOVING OUT! GET OFFA ME, I TELL YOU.
sniff sniff...are we baking something?
Oh no, could be a squirrel but probably another little furry animal. Either way, if she is going up there, you don’t want one of those critters, scared shitless, getting tangled in your hair. Gives me the willies just thinking about it. Jeez!
Ok Manny, you go first!
sign-Crap! I didn't even think about rats or mice.
gab-I have to watch them. I love getting scared.
Suze-Grace is my cat, but she has been declawed.
Sal-I do have a hair net leftover from my second job at the walmart deli.
Barman-I did notice the first squirrel here just a couple of weeks ago.
Crab-Not baking, but I am mixing up some peanut butter and decon. I'm not messing with any traps. Whatever it is, it's as good as dead!
Sal-I wasn't even thinking about my hair. Thanks for the tip.
Oh, and tie off any access points to your clothing. Wouldn’t want a critter in your pants. Take a tennis racket in case you need to volley one!
Now she has bats in her belfry! ahhhhhhh ha ha ha ha ha!
sal-I wouldn't have thought of that either, LMAO! I hope I don't fall thru the ceiling.
Good luck Manny. I hope you've put on protective clothes?
Mone-I shoved my pant legs in my boots, tucked my shirt in, and wore work gloves.
