I wash my underwear before throwing them away. I caught myself doing that and decided it felt better even though I was throwing it away. Don't ask me why.
I put them washed into the fireplace. That way I know they are not getting into strangers hands :)
Why washed? I dont really know.
Most of the times I decide to throw them away as I'm getting them out of the closet and suddendly feeling like they have to go.

They get washed as I usually just throw them in there. When I grab a pair I realize I need to throw them away. That’s just my system anyway.
