It's not the snow I hate, but more the frezing cold. Once I get my driveway shoveled (sp) I'm usually pretty cool.
Driving is ok, slow down, stay alert and give yourself plenty of stopping distance.
To all the 4 wheel drive's out there. Yes, 4 wheel drive will get you through the snow, but you're not going to be stopping any faster then anyone else. Stop thinking you can stop on a dime while on ice.
This bring's me to the 'Big yellow Monster's'. You all suck! Well, at least the driver's do. Most of you are from all over the US, so you probably don't know about the scandal that hit our school bus system last week. Seem's they busted a driver with a syringe and some coke in his bus. The next day, they shut down our city school's (every one of them) in order to do an investigation. Most of the driver's passed, but there were the few who didn't. What about the children on the 'few' busses.
It's no secret I hate the 'Big Yellow Monster's'. Not because of their exhaust or the inconvenience of getting stuck behind 4 or 5, stopping in the same place. It's because I get a bad, icky feeling in my stomach when I witness some of the thing's I've witnessed. A bus full of children, stopped with an adult standing on the outside, talking to the bus driver from outside his window. The guy I witnessed speaking to a driver a few weeks back didn't look like a concerned parent. As a matter of fact, he didn't look like he had any business being anywhere near children. I could be wrong, but when I get those 'gut feelings' I'm usually right on target.
My 'gut feelings'? My mom passed them down to me, Crab and Squirrel get them too. There is no denying them. They can only mean trouble.
So there you have it, still yet another post by me, with much to do about nothing.
Tonight I may attempt to make the switch over to new blogger. Wish me luck, I'm going to be going in. On the other hand, if by switching mean's I'll end up with girl's like Signgurl did yesterday, this might be a good thing. LOL

Update! They have asked 5 other driver's not to come to work today.

Good luck on the switch, the hardest thing is creating a new password and remembering to sign in blogger first before trying to comment.

When you sign into new blogger you have to be initiated. They'll put you through a series of hazing rituals. Nothing too bad. You eat a few spiders, walk a plank between two 15 story buildings...same-o, same-o. The wedgie is the worst part cuz they hang you from a clothes line by your unders. Overall though....it's not so bad.
Oh manny! You should come out here and snuggle up with all of us next to the fire place. You can even bring your kitty ;o)

Be sure you are wearing clean underwear, I know I know this may be difficult, handwash a pair if you have to.
Don't take any of the black spiders with a white spot on their back..bad, very bad for you.

When you think about it there are probably people in all walks of life that go to work drunk or on or doing drugs and they manage not to be caught. What is bad here and is what is getting them in trouble is they are putting children in danger. Don't mess with someones children.
Mental note: Don't stop the school bus driver and chat. I don't need people thinking I am a perv, hung or not. :)

The bus drivers here are all maniacs. Both of my daughters have been in bus accidents and they rarely ride because I take them most days. Maybe they should check our drivers out.
