CLASS

I have been in class for the past 2 days. Yes, believe it or not, I'm not so bad.

Part of the class, was to determine what type of person I am, how I react when thing's are going well, and when thing's are not going so well.

When all is well, I am an achiever, I stay in the green. When all is not so well, I go in to power mode, meaning my arrow heads to the red. I have no blue, which pretty much means, I don't care if your life is shit, the work needs to be done so just do it. The guy told me my score was normal considering I have only been in my new position for 10 month's. He encouraged me to take the test again in about 6 month's.

The guy also told me my arrow was more like a dagger, which mean's people probably wouldn't be able to tell if I was having a bad day. He said I might want to take up poker because I could probably bluff my way through a bad hand. How is it possible that people would be unable to tell that I just want to reach out and strangle them?

I took another test that said I pretty much take the bull by the horns. This is where I could get in trouble because I want to take you by the horns and slam you into the wall. LOL According to my score, I not afraid of conflict or confrontation and I find a good argument to be quite invigorating and would probably ask you if you'd like to go another round the following week.

This suprised me because while in a staff meeting, I will support and back everyone in unit %100, but after the meeting, we're going to have a talk and I will keep my eye's wide open. Yeppers, I'll be coming around the corner alot.

It has been a challenge for me. You see, I was promoted from within my department. I used to be one of them. I was advised this could be a problem and there would be some who would buck everything I did. Turn's out, the one's I expected the most problems from turned out to be my biggest help. It's my "friends" who try to give me the most grief. Needless to say, I have detached with love.

I understand people have personal problems. Hell I did. When my ex-husband and I divorced, noone even knew. I worked every day, stayed productive, and didn't say anything until the day after the divorce was final. I came in the next day, didn't have my ring on, and took down all his picture's. I still didn't say anything until someone finally got up enough nerve to ask me. I told one person and the entire building knew by the end of the day. I think gossipers have low self esteem.

My sentences are all running together again. I tried putting 6 spaces between paragraph's, but it didn't help. Does anyone know why this happens? Is there anything I can do to help this? Yes g, I know smartass, take a typing class. PLEASE HELP!
