UPDATE!
When I woke up this morning I peaked out front to make sure my driveway had been cleared. Now you all know I go to bed early so I don't know what time he got here. I proceed to drink my coffee and watch a little news. I shower, do make up, hair, yadda yadda yadda. I go to leave, hit my garage door opener only to hear a mean noise. Turns out my garage door was frozen shut. EEEK! Thankfully it opened after my third try and my happy behind made it to work with time to spare.
We got hit by what I consider to be the worst Winter storm of this season. I left my house this morning at 6:00 a.m. in complete white out conditions. The drive in to work wasn't so bad, I was able to go a steady 45 all the way in.
This is my evergreen green tree. The snow turned to ice right aroung 1:00 p.m. and I arrived home to find my tree droopy, as if it were crying.
I am standing at my back door facing to the left. This is the field that fills up with water during any heavy rain fall. The good thing about it is, the city owns it and noone will ever build there, hence my great private back yard.
This is straight out back. My back yard is sort of deep and comes to a point at the end of my property line.
I arrived at work this morning to the sweetest suprise. The men in my unit (5 strong handsome men) decided to suprise their ladies (female co-workers) to a Valentines Day snack day. We had no idea they were doing this. They set up a meat and cheese tray, buns, condiments, pasta salad, desert bars, cookies, and chips. They even decorated the empty cubicle with hearts and streamers. I think they like us. Of course later in the day, one of them told me that the ladies can pay back come Sweetest day. Do you think they will forget by then? LOL

I thought of my friend south of the border this afternoon as the snow started to fall and the winds are blowing like crazy.
We should get 6-10 inches by tomorrow morning.

I was talking to my mom yesterday and she said they were getting a lot of snow as well. I told her to stay put! She's a scary driving when it's a clear sunny day in the summer...hahaha.
I would love to be there with my dogs. They have NEVER been in snow and make snow men and snow angles.

Crab-I ate all the snacks. Thems my cookies! Give them damn cookies! The coolest part was, I was in a staff meeting when they started eating and there was a plate of food on my desk when I came out of that 3 hours long meeting! I even got seconds.
My COOKIES! I broke them little hearts in half and gobbled them all up.
And today when I left work, I hid all my chocolate kisses. That's my candy! LMAO
jillie-I bet your dogs are having a blast. I hope you get to see them and your mom real soon. Can I come visit...I need the ocean!
tc-How'd you know I take bites and leave the one's I don't like behind. I doo the same thing with ice cream. I go straight for the good stuff and leave the rest behind. Do you suppose that's why I'm divorced?

You know today was pretty interesting. I kept waiting and waiting and waiting for g-man to send his guy over to do the snow. Now I think he was suppose to do SignGurl first. I never saw him so either g-man never sent him and SignGurl was not sharing.
I spent almost an hour and a half to shovel the snow this morning and another hour after work to clear up what I left and clean the snow plow stuff. Yuck but it could have bene worse.

Yes, ice is no fun especially when you find it in the car unexpectedly or when you are walking along and your legs go one way and you ... well you mostly just do down. Just say no to ice.
They say we only got a half inch of snow. I know that is not true. I shoveled 5 or 6 inches and took 1 1/2 hours. That was NO half inch of snow. I may be a wimp but I am not that bad.
Oh well, nothing out there now. Time to do the trash ... have a nice day.
Looks like you all got a lot of snow recently. We've had some snow here in Kansas, but nothing special. Certianly nothing to create cool sledding stairs or anything like that...just enough to bother me and my morning commute.
Oh Manny...what fun that would be. I could take you to the mountains to see the snow...oh wait! YOU HAVE SNOW!!!! LOL...just kidding! I live on the ocean with a beautiful view and I would be MORE than happy to have you here. You'll have to make sure Gracie doesn't get jealous that you'll be playing with another cat though....

Oh I have been neglectful. I'm sorry. I have been working so hard. Lastnight when I finally got to leave work I hit the tanning bed, picked up some very good cheap Mexican food, came home ate, and went to bed. I wanted to blog, but my body was telling me I better sleep so I did.

Roxi-You are a lot closer in Toledo then Michigan. When I think of Toledo, I automatically think Lucas county. Now you need to get an assignment in Columbus so we can party! I do have an extra room you can stay in.
