As uasual I'm always a day late with my posts. I was talking to a friend of mine last night. She has small children and was telling me about the Easter egg hunt she took them to yesterday.
This reminded me of when I was little. Squirrel had taken me to the park where they were having a big Easter egg hunt. I was excited and couldn't think of anything else for 2 days before. We got there and took our places. When the man yelled "go" all I could do was stand there. Squirrel was telling me to run out there and find eggs, but I just stood there frozen right where I stood. Once it was over I was ready to hunt. I remember carrying my empty basket all the way home. I was so sad. Lucky for me, while we were gone mom had hidden eggs at home. The eggs at home had money taped to them. I found all them eggs. Woot! To this day Squirrel still reminds of the egg hunt she took me to and how I just stood there doing nothing just like a pet rock.
Squirrel and I went out for Easter dinner yesterday. Originally we were going to go to Olive Garden, but at the last minute she said...Let's do Mexican. We get there and they were closed so we headed accross the street to O'Charlies. I ordered steak and crab cakes because they said it was the last day of their seefood promotion. The crab cakes were so good. About 1/2 hour later they seated people behind us. The server told them they were out of crab cakes. Squirrel and I just looked at each other and laughed. Realizing these folks were my age and how they were probably at that same egg hunt all them years ago finding the eggs I couldn't...or wouldn't, I couldn't help, but to brag as to how good the crab cakes were. LOL

They should've told you there were ants around the eggs and I bet you would've been running all around looking for them.LOL
That's funny how you were talking about how good the crabcakes were.
You should've gone to their table and told them "you took all my Easter eggs and now I have sweet revenge cause the crabcakes were delicious."

No breakfast for me. I have a test being ran and had to fast. I'm only alowed to have tea, no sugar. Maybe the tech packed some extra lunch she'll be willing to share. Then after that it's off to the dentist. I hope I have time to eat in between time.
I'd rather be at work.

Isn't it funny how we can sike ourselves up like that and then ... nothing. I have done that as an adult before. Something did not seem right so I just held back and the opportunity was gone forever. As a matter of fact I still do that with trying to date. Not pretty I tell you.
To bad I already had breakfast, that sounds SO good.

I have NEVER been to an egg hunt. Now I'm crying! I've been deprived and neglegted. I'm going to have to talk to my mom about this one!

You ate crabby that wasn't very nice I've just commented on hers and you ate her! Not happy with that you're then seen eating a cheese sandwich with no remorse!

sign-I dunno how great it was, but at least the dentist is finally finished. She even threw in a freeby. I have a samll little tooth and she made it normal size. She told me she was getting tired of looking at that tiny little tooth. I told her this root canal maxed out my insurance coverage for this year and she told me not to worry about it.Way cool huh?
barman-Neither one of us can believe I used to be so shy and sensitive. I'm still sensitive just a little bit. I'm trying to grow a thicker skin.
BTW, Don't be afraid to ask someone out. All they can do is say no and then it's their loss. You're a great guy!
crab-Yes I did. I ate the very last crabs. LOL I've been on a seafood kick lately, but no fish.
Jillie-Don't feel bad. I never had an Easter bonnet.
ebezp-I'm ready for more crab.

g-How about a ham, american cheese, onion, red pepper and mushroom omelet, 4 pieces of whole wheat taost w/real butter, green bean casserole and something chocolately to wash it all down with? I just love it when you slave around the kitchen for me.

MMMMMM crabcakes, I had them on a visit up to Washington DC, never had them SO GOOD since. I'd travel back there just for that lol
