I'm so ashamed. I said I wasn't going to let it
get bad this year. In my defense, I lost my
energy long before I went in the hospital.
Yesterday I got a burst of energy. I started the early morning clipping coupons. Then by mid-morning I was busy snapping pictures of my babies.
When I opened the front bedroom windows, I just stood there staring at my flower beds. I was overcome with shame at how bad I let it get.
And then I realized, standing around feeling all guilty wasn't going to get it done. I needed to take action. So I did. I was fighting thorns, thistles, and mutant spiders. I must have ran into 9 spider bugs. Giant hairy ones. You know the kind, the ones who stand on their hind legs when they see you? YIKES!
Here it is now. I still have to lay new mulch, but
the hardest part is finished. I even did the other side. I'll post that side another day. It was pure and simple overkill.
This morning I can feel my body starting to ache.
I'm getting stiff. And I can't take anything for it. No ibuprofin. No aleeve. They say small doses of tylenol, but I'm too afraid to take it. I need my liver and kidney's to be in good working condition.

Feel like coming to my house and doing mine now? I have some plants that are suppose to be there but they are so overgrown and I don't like them so I need to dig them out. UGH...no ambition for that. Maybe I'll just sit there and stare at it for awhile and will it away. Yeah, like THATS going to work.
Try a hot bath with some rosemary/eucalyptus mineral salts. That'll make you feel mo betta!

Jillie-I used to keep the prettiest flower beds. I don't know what has gotten into me these past 2 summers.

Looking good Manny, looking real good. My beds do not look like that but only because I have a lot of grass pilled up in the beds to act as a mulch. It looks pretty bad. Oh well, maybe I will rake it before the Michigan/Michigan State football game.
Would you look at that. I was going to suggest a hot bath. Jillie already did that and more and I missed it. I must have had my eyes on her glass off wine she has there.

We NEED LSU to loose and the Bucks to win. LSU is hoping we loose a game which could move them into our number one spot. Not to fret tho...I'm pretty sure they will today. That's one game I'll be keeping my eye on for sure!
Oh and brace yourself...we're cheering the blue and gold onto victory. Just trust me on this. We want them to keep winning. It's gonna make for a much more exciting rival match.
Of course I want Michigan to win today. I always want them to win...cept on the 17th. hehe
I may even sport my Michigan tee on the 17th.
