MY TREE IS UP AND CRAB IS ALL MINE !

Thank's to the kid, my Christmas tree is up. I don't have all of my ornament's on it, but the hard part is finished. YAY!

I had to feed him. I'm told they need to eat, no matter how old they get. I guess he was starting to get a little weak and I could hear his stomach making noise's. What do I know?

I will be busy the next 2 day's at work and then it'll be Thanksgiving. I love Thanksgiving. Squirrel and I go to Crabs. Crab's make's Thanksgiving great for us. Knowing we work the day before (I usually work the day after), and Squirrel work's long hour's, all we have to do is show up sporting nothing except comfy clothe's and carry home container's. After dinner, we help clean, settle in with desert, coffee, special dipping sauce, the add's, pen, paper, and we all make out our Christmas list. (Squirrel and I do Christmas) Pssst, Crab's, I know what Squirrel want's!

Before dinner, we all partake in the putting out the sweet potato fire. Yep, every year we have a fire. LMAO! Perhap's one of us will elaborate before our festivities.

Thank's Crabs, you're the best ! ! ! ! Noone could ever wish for a better Crabs! I mean that. You are the bestestes Crab ever! And you are all mine! I will only share you with Squirrel and that's just because she work's so much.

I just love that Crab!

LOL! My Christmas list is no longer then usual. I call it my wish list. I don't expect everything on my list silly, it just alway's work's that way for me.

I am the baby sister! Baby sister is my rightful position in this family. I own it!!

The truth is, Crab and Squirrel both stepped up 44 years ago, to being my big sister's, and not once, has either of them dropped the ball.

I am blessed and give thank's daily for both of them. Not because of gift's, but because of everyday life.

She is all mine! I am the baby sister! I am the baby girl!!! They both love shopping for me, standing over the table ( I don't do gift bag's), and wrapping my gift's! Yea! They both love it!

Last year, I bought one of those bitty North Folk Island pines. I stuck a bow on top and called it a tree. Oh sure, I took some heat but after ....when everybody else had to take off all their decorations and work their butts off cleaning up....I just pitched my little tree, bow and all right into the ole scapper. LOL!

I am not either a Grinch!

Crab-The kid insisted on the tree. He bugged me for over a week.

That's not being a grinch. Decorating for Christmas is hard work!

Milky-I'll get a picture this year. She'll try to blame the oven, but it's really her. LOL She forget's they're in there and the next thing we know...

We had really good cheap Mexican tonight. Mmmmm

Jeezy peeps, that is distrurbingly early, but I sincerely applaud you for your conviction - usually we begrudgingly put the tree up so that the neighbours don't think we're grinches :) It's all the dazzling lights in October that annoy me, but well done for managing to hold onto your love of Christmas into adulthood! I'm only nineteen and I'm a cynical wee Scrooge!

I know our friends to the south of us are just a wee bit different but I would like to know how the tradition of the sweet potato fire began.:)
