I took these this morning. My mind wondered to tc when I saw it. As far as I can tell, he is the only one that share's my love for mornings.I was seeing pink coming throught the blinds. I peeked out and saw this. I grabbed my camera and went out front. I tried to be careful so my neighbor's wouldn't think I was taking pictures of them. My back yard is more "Taking pictures friendly" but you can't see the sun coming up from out there.
Now it had just finished sleeting here and I was cold as anything being out there without my coat.
How does the saying go?
Red sky at night, sailor's delight. Red sky in the morning, sailor's warning.
Must be true because it stormed later today when I was sitting in the dentist chair. Loud thunder. I shared my need to go storm chasing with my dentist. She told me she could help them identify my body with my dental records. LOL She had jokes.

Yes I really do love the mornings, there is such quiet and peacefulness.
There is a small window of time when things are still sleeping and getting ready to awaken, that's when the birds start singing.

That is a lovely time of the day. I intend to go back to the Capitol to take a series of pictures at that time of the day. That is some of the best light there is.
I love that time TC talks of. I have, on more than one occasion, stayed up all night and I remember hearing all the birds up real early, even before light but you know it is not far away. Then the morning sky. I have only taken a few pictures of the morning sky. This inspires me to try again.

It has been years since I've stayed up all night.
I always meant to get better pics of the city when I got to work, but I waited too long. Now, with the time change, it's pitch black again.
Wow! Those are pretty. It's still dark out when I get up and I've not seen a sunrise yet. Mostly cuz my face is hangin in my coffee cup still.

That sunrise has been hangin there for 3 days. Which means you've gone over the 3 day blogger lapse. I think that's punishable by a pretty hefty fine. Something to do with hanging G-man's unders off your rear view mirror. Can't remember for sure but...it's big.
oh screw me. When I said, "it's big" I totally left the door open for g to step in and zing me. "this" is what happens when you post with a migraine. Right here.
